In sex-ring case, 2 Arkansas men, both 20, held

Two of three men being sought in a Franklin County sex-ring case were arrested Wednesday and Thursday, according to the Franklin County sheriff's office.

John Davis, 20, of Mulberry was arrested Thursday on a warrant charging him with one count of transportation of minors for prohibited sexual conduct and one count of sexual indecency with a child. He was being held in the Franklin County jail.

Weston Bailey, 20, of Van Buren was arrested in Crawford County on Wednesday night on a warrant charging him with sexual indecency with a child, Franklin County Sheriff Anthony Boen said. He also was being held in the Franklin County jail.

The bail amount for both men was unavailable Thursday.

The men were accused with two others of recruiting teenage boys at the request of Michael Roe, 60, of Mulberry so he could have sex with them or watch them engage in sex or sex acts with others.

Roe was charged in circuit courts in Franklin and Crawford counties with 26 sex crimes including rape, fourth-degree sexual assault and second-degree sexual assault. He is free on bonds totaling $250,000 and is scheduled to be arraigned on the Franklin County charges Sept. 1 in Circuit Court in Ozark.

Arrested last week was Dillion Harrison, 19, of Mulberry. He was charged with one count of sexual indecency with a child. Harrison is free on $30,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned in Ozark on Sept. 1.

Still at large Thursday was Cory Oxford, 24, of Van Buren. He was charged with two counts of rape and one count of transportation of minors for prohibited sexual conduct.
