T-fal Powerglide Steam Iron
What's to love: The iron physically removes the tap-water scale deposits before they build up and clog the steam vents on the soleplate.
What does it do: Prolongs the life of the iron by collecting lime scale in the base of the iron that results from using tap water in the device. The only maintenance is cleaning out the collector every few months. The iron also has a two-layer heat plate with aluminum for good heat and steam diffusion and enamel for optimal glide.
