Joe Walsh and American Idol Kris Allen are among acts performing May 3-7 at Meteor Guitar Gallery during the Bentonville Film Festival. Tickets are $25 and must be purchased at the door of the venue at 121 W. Central Ave., Bentonville.
Doors open at 9 p.m. each night, performances start at 10 p.m. and doors close at 1:30 a.m.
• May 3: BFF Jazz Night featuring Marcus Johnson: Johnson has released 18 studio albums, garnered a NAACP Image Award nomination for Jazz Album of the Year and has toured the world at top venues and festivals. He is also the founder and CEO of FLO Wine, recently included by USA Today on its list of Top 10 Celebrity Wines.
• May 4: American Heroes Night featuring Kris Allen and friends: Allen is a musician, singer and songwriter from Conway. He won the eighth season of American Idol and released his fifth album, "Letting You In," on March 18. He worked on the album in his new home base of Nashville and calls it his most personal album to date.
• May 5: BFF Celebrates Sisters featuring Dozzi and Dufflebag Divas: Country music sister trio, Dozzi, won the 2012 Australian Country Music People's Choice Award for Best Video, "Love Away The Bad Days." The Duffle Bag Divas have been full time deejays for six years, paying their dues in some of Hollywood's most exclusive clubs to playing clubs and events all over the US. They are known for their ability to mix up genres, combining their blend of EDM, trap, and hip-hop to set the perfect vibe.
• May 6: BFF Club Night featuring DJ Henri: Henri, aka Henrietta Tiefenthaler, is a DJ, singerm producer, songwriter and fashionista. She is building a reputation for sets which are eclectic and engaging.
• May 7: BFF Classics featuring legend Joe Walsh: Walsh joined the Eagles in the mid-1970s, putting his indelible style on the American pop culture canon with "Hotel California" and "Life in the Fast Lane." Post-Eagles, Walsh has collaborated with musicians such as Ringo Starr, Bob Seger, Warren Zevon and Lionel Richie.
