Amber Turner will play basketball at Hendrix College, while Keely Compton and Alexa Earp will play soccer. Compton will attend Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, while Earp will head to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami.

Turner, a 5-foot-7 guard, averaged nine points per game with a season-high 21 against Tahlequah, Okla., for the Lady War Eagles this season, after moving from Rogers High. She also led the team in steals and was second in assists and shot 33 percent from the 3-point line.

Turner was pleased with the progress she made between her junior and senior seasons and is looking forward to playing at the collegiate level.

"I feel like I improved a lot from last year to this year, my game progressed a lot," Turner said. "I think my shot got a lot better and I was more confident with the ball."

Heritage girls soccer coach Craig Frank said both Compton and Earp have been strong contributors in the midfield.

"Earp has been the starting left mid for the last three years," Frank said. "She'll be a good fit at NEO. She'll do very well at that level. Keely has been a four-year varsity starter. Graceland was a great fit for her. She'll have a chance to start as a freshman. They are a highly competitive NAIA Division I team."
