A Franklin man died Saturday afternoon after his vehicle left the pavement and struck a tree in Fulton County, according to Arkansas State Police.
The vehicle driven by Christopher A. Simmons, 29, of Franklin left Arkansas 395 and hit a tree about 10 miles north of Salem, according to a police report.
Simmons was pronounced dead at the scene.
The report said the vehicle was a 2008 Suzuki, but it did not specify whether it was a motorcycle.
Police said the conditions were clear and dry.
