Madeline Smallwood joined Weichert, Realtors — The Griffin Company’s Bentonville office as a real estate agent. She worked at JB Hunt Transport Inc. in Lowell. Smallwood graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in sociology.

Laurie Malloy recently received her Associate Certified Coach credential from the International Coach Federation. She is co-owner of Simple Spaces LLC, a company which specializes in professional organizing and home staging. The credential required Malloy take several courses, pass an oral exam, a three-hour written exam and have logged, paid coaching client hours.

Joanna Thompson was selected to be on the planning committee for the Lung Cancer Alliance, National Lung Cancer Screening Conference. The screening conference is the oldest nonprofit organization dedicated to lung cancer patients. Thompson has worked for Highlands Oncology Group for seven years and is director of The Center for Chest Care and Free Lung Cancer Screening program.

Tracy Parent, a computed tomography technologist in the radiation department at Highlands Oncology Group, was inducted as president of the Arkansas Society of Radiologic Technologists during its conference in Little Rock April 7-9.

Traci Hampton joined Highlands Oncology Group as the oncology service line manager. She has 11 years of oncology experience and was site director for The West Clinic in Memphis.

Daniel Armbruster is the new weekday morning co-anchor at KHBS/KHOG-TV. He was the co-anchor for the 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. news on sister station The Arkansas CW. Armbruster earned a bachelor’s degree in communication with a minor in political science from the University of Texas at Arlington.
