Mountain metaphysics

The 11th annual Ozark Mountain Transformation Conference, a “metaphysical and spiritual gathering” with a psychic fair, will take place today-Thursday at the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks, 207 W. Van Buren St., Eureka Springs. It will precede the 29th annual Ozark Mountain UFO Conference, Friday-Saturday at the same venue.

Erich von Daniken, author of the Chariots of the Gods books and a pioneer of Ancient Astronaut Theory that states the ancient gods were extraterrestrials, will be the keynote speaker, bridging both conferences. He will present Part 1 of his “Unsolved Mysteries of the Past” lecture on Wednesday at the Transformation Conference and Part 2 at the UFO Conference on Saturday.

The Transformation Conference, founded by author, hypnotist and past-life regressionist Dolores Cannon, offers Ozark Mountain Publishing authors the chance to share their books and insights into metaphysical topics, including healing, channeling, psychic abilities, dreams and spirituality. Many of the speakers will also offer workshops, personal readings and sessions. A complete schedule is available online at transformation-conference.com. Call (800) 935-0045.

The UFO Conference will also feature a second keynote speaker, UFO investigator Linda Moulton-Howe, a longtime conference attendee, who will present a lecture titled “Symbols and Binary Code in High Strangeness Phenomena.” A complete conference schedule is available at ozarkufoconference.com. Discounted packages to register for both conferences are available.
