New Eagle Scouts

Slaton Wood, 17, is the son of Dennis Wood and Pamela Wood of Maumelle. He is a member of Troop 295 at the First United Methodist Church in Maumelle. For his Eagle Project, Slaton cleaned, repaired, and repainted the entire stage floor and facade at the United Methodist Church in Maumelle.

Hogan Dailey, 16, is the son of Melissa Morse and Dave Dailey of Jonesboro. He is a member of Troop 115 at the Methodist Church in Bono. For his Eagle Project, Hogan procured materials and organized volunteers to build two picnic tables for use by students in an outdoor area of Nettleton High School.

Will Chappell, 18, is the son of Cindy and David Chappell of Benton. He is a member of Troop 99 at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Little Rock. For his Eagle Project, Will striped two parking lots at The Church at Rock Creek in Little Rock.

Evan Boyle II is the son of Robert and Kathy Boyle of Roland. He is a member of Troop 395 at St. James United Methodist Church in Little Rock. For his Eagle Project, Evan used reclaimed bricks to build stairs with a railing on the East Quarry Trail of Pinnacle Mountain State Park.

Grant Lancaster, 17, is the son of Lanny and Lisa Lancaster of Little Rock. He is a member of Troop 99 at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Little Rock. For his Eagle Project, Grant painted 40 feet of hallway and two bathrooms for the Chenal Valley Church of Christ.

Denver Ellis, 15, is the son of Scott and Jami Ellis of Scott. He is a member of Troop 18 at the North Little Rock First United Methodist Church. For his Eagle Project, Denver designed, harvested wood, built, and implemented the new cedar log arbor at Toltec Mounds State Park.

Ben Adair, 15, is the son of David and Cheryl Adair of Benton. He is a member of Troop 99 at the First United Methodist Church in Salem. For his Eagle Scout Project, Ben forged a 1.1 mile trail for Camp Paron of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, which he named “Eagle’s Journey.”

Charles McCasland, 17, is the son of Sean and Tina McCasland of Jonesboro. He is a member of Troop 4 at the Knights of Columbus Hall No. 1704 in Jonesboro. For his Eagle Project, Charles built an above-ground planter that is wheelchair accessible for the residents of South Wind Heights.

Christian Crawford, 15, is the son of Lee and Celestee Crawford of Hot Springs. He is a member of Troop 65 at the Piney Grove United Methodist Church in Hot Springs. For his Eagle Project, Christain organized and led food drives at two locations in Hot Springs. The drives collected over 2,000 pounds of food for Project Hope Food Bank.

Kyle Lee, 14, is the son of Robert and Laurie Lee of Little Rock. He is a member of Troop 30 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Little Rock. For his Eagle Project, Kyle led a group in cleaning trail markers, picking up litter, and installing landscape timbers in eroded areas along the Kingfisher Trail at Pinnacle Mountain State Park.
