A new configuration for traffic on northbound Interstate 530 near White Hall in Jefferson County that was put in place this week will last for about three months, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
The new configuration routes both northbound and southbound traffic onto the same side of the interstate with a barrier wall separating each direction of travel. The work zone is on a 6-mile section of I-530 between the community of Jefferson and Arkansas 104 just north of White Hall.
Alternate routes are marked by signs and are posted on the department's travel and construction information website IDriveArkansas.com, the department said.
