A man was arrested in connection with a small amount of cocaine wrapped in a $5 bill early Sunday after an argument with his girlfriend, according to police.

Tony White, 28, was arrested Sunday in connection with possession of a controlled substance and a hold for another department, according to jail records. Police records give an address for White as 3363 Princeton in Fayetteville. Jail records list his address as 2000 W. Maple in Pine Bluff.

Police were called at 4:04 a.m. Sunday from Harp's, 1274 N. Colorado Drive, by a woman who said she had gotten into a fight with White and he stole her phone and a PlayStation and walked away, according to call logs.

Police stopped White while he was walking near Comfort Inn, 1234 Steamboat Drive, according to an affidavit for his arrest. He told police the woman had argued with him, thrown his belongings out and damaged them, according to the affidavit. Dispatchers told police White had an active warrant on possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear from Bentonville. Police searched White and found a folded $5 bill in the coin pocket of his pants which field-tested positive for cocaine, according to the affidavit.

The affidavit notes White is on parole in addition to outstanding court cases. Court documents indicate he pleaded not guilty to possession of a schedule I or II controlled substance in 2014 and guilty to a felony count of failure to appear in 2014.

White was being held Sunday in the Washington County Detention Center with no bond set.
