The city of Rogers entered into a contract Tuesday to purchase the former Rogers Morning News building for $729,900, Mayor Greg Hines said.
Hines said the Rogers Historical Museum has plans to expand its operations into the building at 313 S. 2nd St.
The building is currently owned by Northwest Arkansas Newspapers.
The Rogers City Council will have to approve funds for the purchase.
