Lynda Lloyd, director of policy and leadership at Northwest Arkansas Community College, was elected to serve on the board of directors for the Association of College and University Policy Administrators. The organization is a national association of professionals who discuss college and university policy issues. Eleven individuals serve on the association’s board of directors. Lloyd is a resident of Rogers and has worked for the college since 2004.

Lori Winesburg, sales manager for Arvest Bank in Siloam Springs, graduated summa cum laude from the Paul W. Barret Jr. Graduate School of Banking in Memphis on May 22. Winesburg has been with Arvest Bank since the acquisition of Superior Bank in 2003. Before joining Arvest Bank in Siloam Springs in 2013, she was the branch administrator and senior vice president at Arvest Bank in Fort Smith for six years. She worked as a branch manager for five years and a retail operations coordinator before that. She is a graduate of Arkansas Tech University.

Autumn Hudgins was named assistant vice president/loan officer at Cornerstone Bank’s new office in Huntsville. She has worked in several areas at Cornerstone since August 2003. Hudgins has a degree in advertising and public relations from East Central University in Ada, Okla. She is a graduate of Carroll County Leadership, has served various roles for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life in Carroll County and is a board member of the Single Parent Scholarship of Northwest Arkansas.

Kevin Thompson was appointed as the 2015-16 Emerging Leaders Section Council president at the Arkansas Bankers Association Leadership Conference in Fayetteville on June 26. He is senior vice president of lending with Centennial Bank in Fayetteville. Thompson received a degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance-banking from the University of Arkansas in 2004. He is treasurer and board member of the Fayetteville Lions Club, is a Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class XX graduate, a United Way Day of Caring volunteer, and a member of Central United Methodist Church.

Elizabeth Underwood was promoted to associate vice chancellor for government and university relations at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. She was the school’s executive director for government and community relations and has served as its director of alumni affairs. She spent seven years as an associate director for the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville’s Arkansas Alumni Association. Underwood earned a bachelor’s degree in literature from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, and both a master’s in higher education and a doctorate in public policy from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Jon Fricke was promoted to vice president at High Road Partners, a Bentonville-based company specializing in recruiting management and executive talent for transport, logistics, warehousing and supply chain organizations throughout North America. Fricke has more than 30 years of sales and operations management experience in the trucking and logistics industry.

Brent Leas joined First National Bank of NWA as a vice president, community banker and retail team leader at the new Bentonville branch, which will open later this year. Leas has banking, investing and business development experience in the Benton County market. He began his banking career 21 years ago as a teller in Bentonville. Leas serves on the Bentonville Public Schools Board of Education and is a member of the Rotary Club of Bentonville and is a commissioner on the Benton County Rural Development Authority.
