Anderson to fans: We’ll do our part

FAYETTEVILLE — After Arkansas lost at Tennessee, a season-high announced crowd of 18,352 attended the Razorbacks’ next home game, which they lost 96-82 to Ole Miss last Saturday night.

“Our fans were awesome,” Razorbacks Coach Mike Anderson said.

Despite back-to-back losses, Anderson said he expects another big crowd when the Razorbacks play Alabama tonight in Walton Arena with both teams 2-2 in SEC play.

“The race has just started, and our fans are very critical to our success, so we want them to show up,” Anderson said. “They did their part.

“I guarantee you we’ll do our part.”
