Farmington 49, Morrilton 38

The Lady Cardinals earned a big 5A-West Conference win as three players scored in double figures.

Tahlon Hopkins and Trish O'Connell led the way with 12 points each for Farmington (21-4, 11-2 5A-West) and Kristi Duchanois added 10.

Farmington led by 26 points with about 4 minutes left.

Farmington will host Vilonia on Friday in Cardinal Arena in the regular season finale. The winner of the game will win the 5A-West title and No. 1 seed in the upcoming 5A State Tournament.

Boys

Farmington 60, Morrilton 55

The Cardinals scored a big 5A-West Conference win as Matt Thomas poured in 23 points.

Matt Wilson added 17 points and Skyler Barnes scored 8.

The Cardinals host Vilonia in the season finals at Cardinal Arena on Friday.

Boys

Two Rivers 47, West Fork 41

West Fork trailed 24-18 at halftime and cut the deficit to two in the fourth quarter, but never had the lead against the No. 4 seed from the 3A-4.

The No. 1 seed Tigers, who won the 3A-1 West Conference title, close the season 17-9. Ryan Roebke was West Fork's only player in double figures with 21 points.

Girls

Greenland 67, Atkins 26

Kiana Thompson scored 11 points in her return after missing several games with an injury to lead top-seeded Greenland to a convincing win and a spot in the state tournament Wednesday.

Sarah Wright and Kim Crown also added 11 points each, while McKayla Redmond scored 10 for the Lady Pirates (27-2). Greenland led 36-12 at halftime and scored 27 third-quarter points to extend the lead to 41.

Greenland will play the Danville-West Fork winner in the semifinals Friday.

Lamar 37, Elkins 36

The Lady Elkins stayed within five points the entire game of top-seeded Lamar and had a chance at the win on the final possession, but couldn't get a last shot attempt off as their season came to an end in the first round of 3A Region 1 play at Danville on Wednesday.

"We stayed close the whole way," Elkins coach Monica Wells said. "Lamar, they're a No. 1 seed for a reason. But our kids played tough and hung in there. It just didn't go our way at the end."

Sagely Barnett had 10 points to lead Elkins (15-14) and Alicia Welch added nine.
