Rogers man held on attempted-murder charge in Oklahoma

A Rogers man was arrested in Oklahoma on Tuesday in connection with the attempted murder of his girlfriend, the Rogers Police Department said in a statement.

Police were called about 7 p.m. Monday to 3701 W. Murdock Lane in Rogers, where a 33-year-old woman had been stabbed. She was hospitalized in stable condition, according to police.

Her boyfriend, Terrance Keith Billups, 35, was arrested in connection with first-degree attempted murder and aggravated assault on a family or household member. He was arrested without incident Tuesday in Nowata, Okla. He will be extradited to Arkansas, according to police.
