Police looking for two men in Fayetteville robbery

FAYETTEVILLE — Two men crawled through a back window of a gas station, sneaked up on an employee and demanded money at gunpoint early Tuesday, according to police records.

The armed robbery was reported at 1:57 a.m. Tuesday at the White Oak Station, a gas station and convenience store located at 2584 N. Gregg Ave. The employee told police two black men wearing pink ski masks used a handgun and took an unknown amount of cash, dispatch records show. No one was injured, police said.

The two men fled on foot, dispatch records show.

Police are looking for two men, under age 30, who are armed and dangerous, said Corp. Dan Montgomery, police spokesman. The men were described as wearing baggy clothing and hoodies, police records show.

No arrests have been made, Montgomery said.
