New restaurant openings in Rogers and Bentonville

Downtown Bentonville keeps coming up

Restaurant renovations in downtown Bentonville continue to develop the area.

A new project spearheaded by the boutique hospitality group RopeSwing will convert the former First Christian Church at the corner of NW Second Street and NW A Street.

The contemporary restaurant, named The Belfry, is scheduled to open this summer.

The Belfry will expand on the rustic Ozark region cuisine with a focus on local food and sustainable farming.

The kitchen will be led by chef Matthew Cooper. The menu will offer a modern, American spread in a contemporary setting.

The historic church will boast renovations including a rooftop bar with a beer garden, a basement-level cocktail lounge and sprawling native gardens along the ground floor.
