Bethel Heights job will detour traffic

Railroad work and drainage improvements will require closing a portion of Arkansas 264 in the Benton County community of Bethel Heights this weekend, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.

Crews constructing a drainage structure and railroad crossing near North Oak Street will require closing the railroad crossing from 6 a.m. Saturday until 7 a.m. Monday, weather permitting.

Traffic will be detoured using Old Wire Road, Randle Wobbe Lane and U.S. 71B. Local nontruck traffic needing access between the railroad and the culvert crossing will be routed on North Oak Street and County Line Road during the operations, the department said.
