SPRINGDALE -- A man who police say helped rob a Springdale jewelry store in 2011 was arrested Monday.

Bart Woodard, 49, of 1154 N. Jackson Highway in Lincoln was arrested in connection with theft by receiving, aggravated robbery, failure to appear and a misdemeanor offense, according to a news release. He was at the Washington County Detention Center with $381,405 in bonds Tuesday.

Woodard had been connected to other burglaries involving stealing jewelry, according to a probable cause affidavit. He's one of the men who robbed Mancia Jewelry at 120 N. Thompson St. in May 2011, according to the affidavit. Police said the men used a stun gun on a co-owner.

The men left most of the stolen items in the parking lot when they fled.

Police had been looking for Woodard since mid-2011. He was on the Washington County Sheriff's Office "Most Wanted" list, according to the release.

Washington County deputies and the U.S. Marshals Service made the arrest.

No further information was available Tuesday.
