Standoff at Ferguson home after reports of shooting

FERGUSON, Mo. — Tactical officers have surrounded a home in the St. Louis County town of Ferguson following reports of a shooting.

Officers responded to the home Tuesday afternoon. Ferguson spokesman Jeff Small said authorities found blood at the scene. It's not yet known if someone is injured.

Officers in tactical gear were called to the home, where a standoff is underway.

The home is in a residential area of Ferguson, a town that has been at the center of attention since August, when 18-year-old Michael Brown, who was black, was fatally shot by a white Ferguson police officer.
