BENTONVILLE -- The Bentonville Farmers Market will be back in business Saturday, according to a news release.
The market will be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday though late October. It' a Downtown Bentonville program.
This will be the 39th year for the market. It's a producer-only market that offers meats, cheeses, eggs produce, baked goods and arts and crafts. It has more than 80 vendors.
This year also will include a mid-week market at the Bentonville Community Center starting May 6 to Oct. 28. The hours will be from 2:30 to 7 p.m., according to Downtown Bentonville's website.
Downtown Bentonville staff do farm visits and inspections, and all meats and cheeses are USDA/FDA and Benton County Health Department certified.
Educational workshops and activities, including free chef demonstrations, are woven into the market experience.
