Springdale Police Investigating Gas Station Robbery

SPRINGDALE -- Police said they are investigating a robbery that occurred Sunday morning about 4 a.m. at the White Oak Station at 3111 S. Old Missouri Road.

Two men entered the store and took an undetermined amount of cash out of the register then fled out a back door, according to a news release from the Springdale Police Department.

The clerk told police she didn't see any weapons on the suspects, but she was assaulted, according to the news release. She was treated for minor injuries at the scene by the Springdale Fire Department.

The suspects are described as either Hispanic or Marshallese and in their late teens, according to police.

One suspect was seen wearing black, baggy shorts, a gray, hooded sweatshirt and was carrying a black backpack, according to the release. The other suspect was seen wearing gray basketball shorts and a gray, hooded sweatshirt.

The Criminal Investigation Division at the Police Department was investigating the case Sunday evening.
