The Northwest Arkansas Master Naturalists will hold a free class on using a compass and topographical maps from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., on Sept. 28 in Burns Hall at NorthWest Arkansas Community College.
Students should bring a compass with a rotating bezel and wear comfortable walking shoes.
