Man Arrested In Connection With Springdale Hardee's Robbery

SPRINGDALE -- A man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a Monday robbery of Hardee's at 401 S. Thompson St.

Todd Doucette was arrested in connection with aggravated robbery, according to a Police Department news release. He was found in Murphy Park wearing clothes matching those the robber wore.

Doucette gave the Value Place Hotel in Springdale as his residence, said Lt. Derek Hudson, the department's public information officer.

Detectives had an artist draw a picture of the robber, which resembled Doucette, according to the news release. Additional information also identified the robber as Doucette.

The robber entered Hardee's, said he had a gun, threatened to shoot the employee and demanded money, according to a news release. No gun was shown. He left the restaurant with $33.

Doucette was to be taken to the Washington County Detention Facility.
