Bentonville Committee To Hold Tree Giveaway

BENTONVILLE -- The city's Tree and Landscaping Advisory Committee will host its fall tree giveaway Nov. 1.

There will be 150 trees available to Bentonville residents, according to a news release.

The event will start at 9 a.m. and end when the trees are gone. It will be held at Lawrence Plaza, 214 N.E. A St.

Those wanting a tree must provide a driver's license and a utility bill for proof of Bentonville residency. It will be first come, first served. Only one tree will be given per person, per household.

The giveaway will include seven tree species: five gallon autumn fantasy maple, three DP Fox Valley River birch, five DP burgundy hearts redbud, five gallon white flowering dogwood, five gallon tulip tree, five gallon exclamation London planetree and five gallon willow oak.
