SPRINGDALE -- Two Springdale men face charges after police said they broke into P&M Oriental Market at 1209 S. Thompson St.

Alexay Tima, 19, of 1394 Sunset Ave. Apt. 238, and Neyo Junior, 19, of 580 Randall Wobbe Road Apt. 11-201, were arrested in connection with felony commercial burglary and first-degree criminal mischief, according to arrest reports.

Police said the burglary happened about 1:20 a.m. Saturday.

Shattered glass from the back door of the business covered the ground and a cash register was next to the door when police arrived.

Tima was arrested after he was seen walking out of the back door at the business, according to the reports. A small amount of what police believed was stolen cash was found on him.

After searching the store, Junior was found hiding in a walk-in cooler. Police say stolen cash was also found on him.

Police estimated $900 in damage to the business. The cash register, back door and two filing cabinets were destroyed.

Both men were being held Saturday in the Washington County Detention Center without bond.
