Bentonville High School Homecoming Set For Friday

BENTONVILLE -- Bentonville High School will celebrate its 2014 homecoming Friday.

The Bentonville Tigers will host the Fort Smith Northside Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. The homecoming court was selected by the class of 2015 student body. The homecoming queen will be revealed just before the football game, according to a news release.

The queen was chosen by senior football players from among the 10 senior attendants.

Haven Brown is the daughter of William Brown and Rebecca Powers. She will be escorted by Foster Pool, the son of Terry and Brandy Pool. Mary Bowman Cooper, the daughter of Dr. Scott and Cynthia Cooper, will be escorted by Bennett Moehring, the son of Barry and Cynthia Moehring. Alyssa Dixon is the daughter of Shawn and Jenny Dixon. Her escort will be Hekili Keliiliki, the son of Chance and Kehaulani Keliiliki.

Lydia Fielder is the daughter of Kevin and Amy Fielder. She will be escorted by Javier Carbonell, the son of Mailan Brown. Madison Gainey, the daughter of Dale Gainey and Tammy Chesnutt, will be escorted by Cody Scroggins, the son of Jamie and Kerrie Scroggins. Lauren Hamm is the daughter of Noel and Tina Hamm. She will be escorted by Kahlil Gunn, the son of Robert and Leta Gunn.

Mackenzie Jobe, the daughter of Jason and Christy Jobe, will be escorted by Hayden McDaniel, the son of Ryan and Leslie McDaniel. Alyssa Lizcano is the daughter of Jason and Elaine Moll. Her escort is Caleb Winscott, the son of Gary and Kelly Winscott. Jenna McCollum, the daughter of Adm. Luke and Leanna McCollum, will be escorted by Mitchell Williams, the son of Tim and Sheryl Williams.

Rachel Ronan is the daughter of Marc and Amanda Ronan. Her escort is Ean Pfeifer, the son of Tom Pfeifer and Carla Burns.

The two mascots, whose parents are employed by the Bentonville School District, also will participate in the ceremony. The football bearer will be Phillip Mills, the son of Justin and Becky Mills. The crown bearer will be Madison Schluterman. Her parents are Josh and Heather Schluterman.

The homecoming assembly will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Tiger Stadium. The homecoming dance, sponsored by the BHS Student Government, will be from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
