Bryant to vote on bonds for city projects

BRYANT -- Bryant residents on Tuesday will decide whether to allow the city to pay off existing park bonds and issue new bonds for park and street improvements.

Craftsman called living treasure

Robert Runyan of Winslow, seen here with his wife, Dorothy Runyan, is the recipient of the Arkansas Arts Council 2014 Arkansas Living Treasure award. For more than 35 years, Runyan has been building log and stone structures throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma and Colorado using mostly hand tools and centuries-old building techniques. Runyan was honored Thursday night at a reception at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History in Springdale.
