But pro-Russian forces unrestrained elsewhere in east

Pro-Russia gunmen try to block an Interior Ministry base containing Ukrainian riot police in Donetsk, Ukraine, on Tuesday.

A pro-Russia militia holding an eastern Ukrainian city received further pressure Tuesday from advancing government troops, but militants acted with impunity elsewhere in the turbulent region.
