FedEx profit soars in 4th quarter

Online shopping helps propel earnings to $730 million

FedEx drivers are staying busy, with the firm’s CEO on Wednesday calling the Memphis-based company’s fourth quarter “outstanding.”

The boom in online shopping is hurting some store-based retailers, but it is doing wonders for FedEx Corp.
