The retreat was more than an outdoor getaway for Durgan Maxey.

Rugged Faith

Rugged Faith Ministries offers boot camps for church groups. The one-, two- or three-day events include worship and praise, Biblical teaching and outdoors activities, such as four-wheeler riding, canoeing and skeet shooting.

The ministry will bring the national men’s conference Iron Sharpens Iron to Rogers on Sept. 6 at First Baptist Church in Rogers. Rugged Faith has been host to the conference for the last five years.
