Woodland Jr. High wins Jr. Nationals Academic Championship

The Woodland Jr. High School quiz bowl team took first place in the Junior Nationals Academic Championship in Chicago, according to a news release from the Fayetteville School District.

The team included Ryan Ryan Kim, Jacob Huneycutt, Jacob Partridge, Ibby Ogden, Aubin Payne, Steven Du, Kyle Mayer, David Vega, and Sophie Harris, according to the news release.

The team is coached by Lindsey Asbury and Richard Campbell.
