Rogers Police Search for Shooting Suspect

— One man was injured Monday day night in a shooting incident at the Guest Inn, Rogers police said in a news release.

The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the leg, according to the release.

Police were dispatched at 6:33 p.m. to a call of a man with a gun at the motel, located at 1601 S. Eighth St. according to the release. There they found the victim and called for an ambulance.

The suspect, who was not identified, was last see seen heading west on foot, according to the news release. No description was provided.

Detectives are investigating.
