• Clifford Mason, 51, of 653 N. Betty Jo Drive was arrested Monday in connection with violation of probation or a suspended sentence, stalking, and misdemeanor violation of a protection order, harassment and terroristic threatening. He was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $12,000 bond.

Springdale

• Saul Avila, 26, of 1305 Crutcher St. was arrested Monday in connection with third-degree battery. He was released Monday from the Washington County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.

• Dennis Dodson, 61, of 19037 Bear Trap Road was arrested Sunday in connection with manufacturing marijuana. He was released Monday from the Washington County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.

University Of Arkansas Police

• Casey Fyke, 19, of 1226 Live Oak Drive in Fayetteville was arrested Sunday in connection with theft by receiving and violation of motorcycle safety equipment. He was being held Monday in lieu of a $75,145 bond.

• A burglary was reported Monday at 1403 Buena Vista Circle.

• Child sex abuse was reported Monday in West Fork. The address was unavailable Monday afternoon.

Accidents

Rogers

• A vehicle struck a building and caused structural damage at 11:46 a.m. Friday at 1221 W. Walnut St. No one was injured, and no one was in the building at the time.

• A 52-year-old man had foot pain and was taken to Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville after a vehicle collision at 1:49 p.m. Saturday at Arkansas 12 and Village Road.

• A 54-year-old man was taken to Mercy Hospital at 5:59 p.m. Saturday after a vehicle collision at 2525 N.E. Hudson Road. He had back and chest pain.

• A 46-year-old man had hip pain and was taken to Mercy Hospital after a vehicle collision at 7:43 p.m. Saturday at Promenade Boulevard and New Hope Road.

• A 22-year-old man was taken to Mercy Hospital after a vehicle collision at 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Eighth Street and Post Road. He had arm pain.

Fires

Rogers

• Firefighters put out a fire in a garage at 12:18 p.m. Friday at 6408 S. 35th St. The fire apparently started inside the wall. Firefighters found a low-voltage plug for a water sprinkler system had melted. The fire did not go further than the sheet rock.

• Firefighters plugged a gas pipe to stop a leak at 10:21 a.m. Friday at Oak and C streets. A vehicle ran over a gas meter.

• Rogers city workers tried to dig out a broken water pipe and hit a gas main at 12:06 p.m. Saturday at Second Street and Stribling Drive. Firefighters stayed on scene until water from the ditch was removed, and the gas company handled the leak.
