Bentonville Library Hosts Chinese New Year Celebration

BENTONVILLE — The public library will welcome in the Year of the Horse with a Chinese New Year celebration from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The celebration will be in the children’s section and will feature a traditional Chinese Lion Dance and children’s crafts and stories, according to a news release.

Members of Breath of Life Tao School of Martial Arts will perform the traditional lion dance. Crafts will include Chinese New Year lanterns, firework paintings, the letter “H” for horse collage and Chinese zodiac masks.
