Benton County Sheriff’s Office

  • Richard Brent Allen Jr., 19, of 9821 W. Arkansas 264 in Bentonville was arrested Monday in connection with failure to appear for a felony offense. Allen was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Fayetteville

  • Chanikque Balentine, 22, of 2748 N. Arroyo Ave. was arrested Sunday in connection with felony aggravated assault on a family or household member. Balentine was released Monday from the Washington County Detention Center on $3,500 bond.
  • Bobby and Kathy Turner of 1101-K86 S. Curtis Ave. were arrested Sunday in connection with possession with the purpose to manufacture methamphetamine and endangering the welfare of a minor. Police say they found equipment to make and use the drug in their residence, where two juveniles also live. Both were in the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond Monday. Kathy Turner also was held on $1,875.50 bond for a separate misdemeanor.

Lincoln

  • Zachary Plant, 21, of 15 Ash St. in Farmington was arrested Monday in connection with terroristic threatening and two misdemeanor charges. Plant was released Monday on $4,940 bond.

Prairie Grove

  • Kinion Johnson, 23, of 805 Grant St. was arrested Sunday in connection with felony possession of drug paraphernalia, theft by receiving and other fraud charges. Johnson was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center on $5,055 bond.

Siloam Springs

  • Miranda Hope Brazil, 32, of 20466 Arkansas 59 S. was arrested Monday in connection with a parole violation. Brazil was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.
  • Kandis Lynn Cannon, 24, of 75351 S. 4760 Road in Westville, Okla., was arrested Monday in connection with failure to appear for a felony offense. Cannon was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Springdale

  • Holly Shepherd, 32, of 1505 W. Huntsville Ave. was arrested Sunday in connection with felony possession of drug paraphernalia and other charges, including failure to appear. Shepherd was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center on $177,500 bond.
  • Kristin Jan Kemp, 43, of 2321 Rockburn Ave. was arrested Sunday in connection with felon in possession of a firearm, a felony. Police said guns were found after a neighbor complained Kemp threatened him. Kemp was released Monday from the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.
  • Adam Robert Gibson, 49, of Route 1, Box 27 in Westville, Okla., was arrested Sunday in connection with felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of probation or a suspended sentence and a misdemeanor Prairie Grove warrant for failure to pay fines and costs. Gibson remained in the Washington County Detention Center on Monday in lieu of $7,080 bond.
  • Joran Joran, 38, of 248 Strawberry Meadows No. 105 was arrested Friday in connection with felony fourth offense driving while intoxicated and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Police said a marijuana cigarette was found after Joran was arrested. Joran was released Sunday from the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.

  • Doris Ross reported at 12:17 p.m. Sunday credit/debt card fraud at 107 N.E. Park St.
  • Gerald Goodman reported at 1:18 p.m. Sunday a breaking or entering at 4102 N.E. Cadbury Ave.
  • Kevin Tolly reported at 1:42 p.m. Sunday a breaking or entering at 1409 N.E. Young Ave.
  • Bonnie Witte reported at 1:58 p.m. Sunday a theft at 913 S.E. Walton Blvd.
  • Dakota Waldo reported at 2:32 p.m. Sunday a theft at 2201 S.E. Ninth St.
  • A breaking or entering was reported at 2:39 p.m. Sunday at 1000 N.E. Carnahan Court.

Fayetteville

  • A caller reported a moving truck’s tires were slashed Monday morning near 2081 N. Shady Ave.
  • A caller reported a 2005 Hyundai Elantra was stolen from 2900 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

FIRES

Rogers

  • Lowell and Rogers firefighters responded to a grass fire about 11 a.m. Saturday at West Cobbler Place and South 28th Street. The fire started when a construction crew burned wood and debris from a home under construction.
  • The Rogers Fire Department responded to a mutual-aid call for Highway 94 East Fire Department after a grass fire started about 4:25 p.m. Saturday at 14239 Arkansas 94 Spur.
  • A resident put out a grass fire about 8:45 p.m. Saturday at 2316 S. Matterhorn Blvd.
  • Firefighters responded to an unauthorized burn about 10 p.m. Saturday at North 10th and West Persimmon streets.
  • Firefighters responded to a fire reported about 3:30 p.m. Sunday at 1501 W. Centennial Drive. The homeowner was burning plastic off of wire in an old barbecue grill. He was told to put out the fire.

ACCIDENT

Rogers

  • A 53-year-old woman suffered back pain and was transported to Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville after a vehicle accident about 2:15 p.m. Sunday at South Eighth and West Olrich streets.
