Fayetteville Police Seize Drugs, Cash

FAYETTEVILLE — A man faces felony charges after an undercover drug investigation led detectives to 2.4 pounds of marijuana, $2,646 in cash and numerous other drugs.

Detectives arrested Timothy Joseph Bell, 26, of 1708 W. Arrowhead St. in connection with felony possession of drug paraphernalia and six counts of possession of a controlled substance.

During the past several months, investigators with the 4th Judicial District Drug Task Force twice bought psilocybin mushrooms from Bell at his home, according to a preliminary arrest report. Detectives made audio recordings of the drug buys, according to the report.

On Tuesday, officers found 2.4 pounds of marijuana, 4.7 ounces of psilocybin mushrooms, various amounts of LSD and ecstasy and $2,646 at Bell’s home.

He was in the Washington County Detention Center without bond Thursday.
