The first Arkansas Crohn’s and Colitis Bass Tournament benefiting the Arkansas chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America will be Sept. 21 on Lake Ouachita at Mountain Harbor Marina in Mt. Ida.
The tournament begins at 5:30 a.m., and weigh-in will be at 3 p.m. The winning team will win $2,000. Cash and prizes also will be awarded to teams finishing second through sixth place.
Entry fee will be $125 per boat. A big bass option will be an additional $10 with a 100 percent payout. No more than two anglers may be in one boat, and at least one must be 18 or older.
Ronnie Everett, series director of the Mr. Bass of Arkansas Pro-Am, will serve as the tournament director.
