A Missouri man riding a bicycle was struck by an SUV and killed Wednesday in Clay County, state police reported.
Johnie Brooks, 72, was riding a bike west on Arkansas 328 in Success when about 5 p.m., he turned into traffic and was struck by a Jeep Wrangler traveling in the same direction.
The driver of the Jeep, Holly Townsend, 26, was not injured.
Conditions were clear and dry when the crash occurred, according to state police.
