The Lady Tigers completed the sweep Thursday with a 132-149 victory over the Lady Wildcats. The match was the first for Har-Ber at its home course at Razorback Park.

Nate Morey shot a 1-under par 35 for nine holes to claim medalist honors for the Tigers. He was followed by Bruno Mariscotti with a 38 and Tomas Mariscotti with a 39.

"Nate had a good day," Bentonville coach Kent Early said. "He has definitely worked on his game by playing competitive golf this summer and so has Bruno. They've both been real consistent."

Nick Hancock shot a 39 to lead Har-Ber, which beat Rogers Heritage 180-197 in team play last week. Hancock was followed by Josh Benford, who shot 41.

"I kind of struggled toward the end of my round," said Hancock, a senior leader who also shot a 39 against Heritage. "I was 2-under at one point, so I wasn't too pleased with my score. I'm still hitting the ball well and I think I'll be able to get some lower scores."

Bentonville displayed balance in its scoring while Har-Ber had a big drop off after Hancock and Benford.

"Bentonville is real solid and they have a lot of depth," Har-Ber coach Tim Aynes said. "It's a real plus when the medalist (Morey) comes from the No. 3 spot."

Har-Ber's Joanna Keck shot a 40 to win medalist honors in girls action, but Bentonville used balanced play to win the match. McKenzie Dixon shot 42 for the Lady Tigers while Hanna Brauburger, Kate Robertson, and Katie McClosky each shot 45s.

"It was a little warm out there, but we had a great day," Bentonville girls coach Lindsey Davis said. "The greens were slow, but it was fast going up to those greens. The girls did well, especially HannahBrauburger and McKenzie Dixon, who was actually our top scorer."
