New Ebola cases stir Nigerian fears

Liberian leader declares state of emergency as crisis grows

A Nigerian port health official takes a temperature reading Wednesday of an arriving passenger at the airport in Lagos as part of stepped-up measures to check the spread of the Ebola virus.

Nigerian authorities rushed to obtain isolation tents Wednesday in anticipation of more Ebola infections as they disclosed five more cases of the virus and a death in Africa's most populous nation, where officials are trying to keep the disease confined to a small group of patients.
