FAYETTEVILLE-- A Springdale man was arrested Wednesday in connection with second-degree sexual abuse that happened several years ago, according to an arrest report.

Donald Ray James, 66, of 20258 Santa Rosa Drive was released Wednesday from the Washington County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.

A girl from Greenwood visited James' home several times when she was between 8 and 11-years-old. The incidents occurred on several occasions. The girl, 17, now lives in another state, according to an affidavit.

In a separate incident, a Fayetteville man was arrested Wednesday in rural Elkins.

Richard Hollander, 43, of 1555 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., was being held in the Washington County Detention Center in connection with second-degree sexual assault. He was being held Thursday in lieu of $20,000 bond.

According to the arrest report, Hollander was staying with a family in rural Elkins when he "tickled" an 8-year-old girl in the genital area while the two were playing hide-and-seek.
