100 YEARS AGO April 22, 1914 NASHVILLE — E.J. Burton of Murfreesboro has a cat which is rearing a young rat with her litter of kittens. The young rat has been with its foster mother for the last three weeks and seems perfectly at home with its natural enemies. The mother cat shows no difference in her attitude toward it and the remaining members of her family.
