SHOT OF THE DAY Watson’s drive on the dogleg par-5 13th that soared above the trees before clipping them on the way down and leaving him with just a sand wedge to the green. He would make his last birdie on the hole, stretching his lead to three shots.

NOTEWORTHY Six of the last 12 Masters champions are left-handers.

KEY STATISTIC Watson was the first Masters winner in five years to start the final round with a share of the lead.
