ROGERS -- Nomination forms are now available for the 2014 class to the Rogers High School Mountaineer Athletic Hall of Fame. Forms can be picked up at Rogers High and they are also available on the school district website.
Deadline for submitting nominations is May 31 and this year's class will be announced on July 1.
Nomination categories included distinguished service of 10 years or more by a person that made significant contributions to the program who were not a coach or player, former coaches that have made contributions to the program and community, and former players that made contributions to the program. Former players must have been out of high school for at least 10 years and current coaches are not eligible.
The Hall of Fame banquet is Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the Rogers High auditorium. Reception with light refreshments will be served after the induction ceremony in the Commons Area.
