100 YEARS AGO Oct. 29, 1913 Belated reports received yesterday tell of the great damage done by the snowstorm of Sunday and Monday, which swept through northwest Arkansas. Telegraph, telephone and mail service was impaired to such an extent that it was impossible to obtain detailed reports of the storm earlier. Eight inches of snow fell at Harrison Monday, and while telephone wires are down all over Boone county, it is believed the damage is heavy.
