Arrests Benton County Sheriff’s Office

Jonathan Armando Mendez, 24, of 3703 N. 2nd Place in Rogers was arrested Saturday in connection with rape. Mendez was being held Saturday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Bradley Auburn Wright, 55, of 20466 S Arkansas 59 in Siloam Springs was arrested Friday in connection with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with purpose to deliver a controlled substance. Wright was being held Saturday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Fayetteville

Westley Hoover, 25, of 980 N. Lewis Ave. was arrested Saturday in connection with felony possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was in the Washington County Detention Center without bond Saturday.

Jase Burbank, 47, of 2114 Chestnut Ave. was arrested Friday in connection with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance. He was in the Washington County Detention Center without bond Saturday.

Michael O’Connell, 32, of 22953 Little Hickory Drive in Lowell was arrested Saturday in connection with felony furnishing prohibited articles, along with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, violation of implied consent and possession of a controlled substance. He was in the Washington County Detention Center on $4,050 bondSaturday.

Fayetteville police were called about an accident involving a motorcyclist and a deer at 1:31 a.m. Saturday near 1772 N. College Ave.

A caller reported at 7:11 a.m. Friday a breaking or entering at 2400 SE Cottonwood St.

A caller reported at 10:57 a.m. Friday a breaking or entering at 2110 SE J St.

Crystal Davis reported at 7:48 p.m. Friday a theft at 11 Jordan Lane.

Fayetteville

Police were called about a bomb at Premium Brands, 1601 E. Pump Station Road, at 8:38 a.m. Saturday, according to a 911 report. The caller said an employee was building a bomb for a friend, police said. The caller said someone at the business confronted the employee and told him to leave. The caller said the employee took a soda bottle and wick with him.
