BENTONVILLE — The Bentonville Public Library will host several one-day workshops next week.
Students entering grades five through eight can sign up for a science workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. The Teen Advisory Board will coordinate the event, according to a news release.
A series of Shakespeare-themed writing workshops are set for Wednesday. Students in first through fourth grades will met at 1 p.m. Grades five and six will follow at 2 p.m. and teenagers in grades seven through 12 will start at 3 p.m.
Children’s band Toucan Jam will perform from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday in the library’s Ozarkestra series.
A chemistry workshop will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. June 8. It is designed for students entering grades five through eight.
Registration is required for the workshops and is open at www.bentonvillelibrary.org. All events are free.
