Two Southern singers will be in the spotlight this weekend, according to Thursday's Arkansas Weekend section.
The Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View will hold its fourth annual Tribute to Johnny Cash concert Saturday, featuring Arkansas guitarist Charlie White and Cash’s drummer, W.S. “Fluke” Holland.
And Kinky Friedman, the almost-governor of Texas, is doing a pair of shows this weekend to help an Arkansas horse rescue organization, Wing Spur Wild Horses, in Bigelow.
