Bella Vista Lions Club meets at 5:45 p.m. July 16 at Concordia Retirement Center’s main building, 1 Concordia Drive.

Local physician Marjorie Renfrow will speak about the holistic aspects of geriatric care.

Bella Vista Lions Club’s main focus is eliminating preventable and reversible blindness and tackles many other worthwhile projects as well.

All guests are welcome to attend. The dinner buffet is available for $9.

Hill N Dale Hikers

Ladies Day Out

Bella Vista Ladies Day Out will travel July 16 for lunch at the Weinkeller Restaurant and a Wiederkehr Winery tour, followed by a stop at the Kopper-Kettle Candy Shop in Alma. Meet at 9:30 a.m. in the Bible Evangelical Free Church parking lot in Bella Vista for carpooling.

Women’s Club

The Christian Women’s Club luncheon “A Slice of Americana” will be held at 11:30 a.m. July 8 in the community building at First Assembly of God in Bentonville.

The guest speaker is Trudy Chester of Hot Springs sharing her story “Keep on Dancing Even Among the Sour Notes.”

The cost is $11 inclusive.

Coupon Club

The Coupon Club of Northwest Arkansas is collecting school supplies for the teachers and students of Moore, Okla., during the entire month of July. To kick off the event, the club will have one special drop off day from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Lake Bella Vista.

There will be a sign for residents to sign, and itwill be delivered to Moore along with the donations in August.

During the month of July there will be donation drop-off locations at the Bella Vista Library, Farmington Public Library and the American Legion Post 100 Rogers.

Christian Women

“Dance to the Music” is the theme of the BellaVista Christian Women’s Club brunch from 9 to 10:30 a.m. July 9. The feature of the morning will be Linda Brown of Horses for Healing. The guest speaker is Trudy Chester of Hot Springs sharing her story “Keep on Dancing Even Among the Sour Notes.”

The brunch is held every second Tuesday at the Metfield Clubhouse, 3 Euston Road in Bella Vista. An all-American style breakfast buffet is served. The cost is $10.

The organization is nondenominational, and thepublic is welcome.
